Ok, I have finally sorted through allll the photos I took at Surfer’s Healing 2016…and Yes, It was One Perfect Day!
After posting 12 individual galleries I realized so many things but first want to share a few comments from a mother of an 11 year old autistic young man.
- You capture him laughing here . . .
- That smile is priceless; We've never seen it
- I never thought I would ever see a real smile. I have never seen it on my son's face. You will never know how much it means
- He is 11; He was born without oxygen for an hour and has multiple issues outside of the autism
- Ty so much because you are the only photographer to get his pix
- I was able to play it on ur site and watch the play of emotions; It was awesome
- Thank you for capturing the emotions on his face at Surfers Healing.
- -We have never truly seen them on his face.
These comments tell a story…I hope you also see this story in the photographs of these courageous families.
All of these children and adults bring so much joy to all of us… So, I decided to collect all the photos from all 12 galleries and place them into one huge gallery thinking someone may like to display a slideshow…or use it for some other creative outlet. There are approximately 1,800…I hope you enjoy what I captured. I challenge you to load this gallery…place it on the ‘slideshow’ option and let it run…I did, and by the end I saw so many things to be thankful for. What do you see? Please, I would love comments…you can post them here…I would love the Surfer’s Healing families, volunteers and participants to be able to view them.
