I grew up with this beautiful flower some call The Queen of Vines. It grew on a trellis my Aunt lovingly placed at a base of a tree. It was one of her favorite flowers. I am so grateful she introduced me to this lovely flower. I now have two varieties in our garden: one a solid deep purple the other with a light variegated petals some call ‘leather leaf’. Each time they bloom they remind me of her and how much she taught me about gardening.
